E - Commerce Policies

OUR PAYMENT POLICY :-  We are pleased to accept payment by Credit Card, Debit Card or directly from your Bank Account via PayPal, or alternatively by £GBP Sterling cheque drawn upon a U.K. Clearing Bank.

OUR 3 PAYMENT LAYAWAY PLAN :- Any order to the value of £300 00 GBP or more may be paid for in three easy instalments by PayPal. Upon receipt of your First payment in a sum equivalent to one third of the value of your order, your item will be reserved for you. Payments Two and Three, each in the sum of one third of the value of your order will then fall due on the same day of each of the following two months, or earlier should you so decide. Upon receipt and clearance of your final payment, your order will immediately be packed and despatched, fully insured, to your home or store.

N.B. :- Please be aware that, once an item has been reserved on your behalf, any and all payments made under the terms of our Layaway Plan, are strictly non-refundable. In the event that you are unable or prove unwilling, for whatsoever reason to complete the transaction, the item will continue to be reserved on your behalf for a period of ninety days from the date upon which your Third { Final } payment falls due. At this point, should full settlement not have taken place, your order will be declared null and void and the goods returned to stock. In these circumstances, any and all monies received by ourselves in connection with the transaction shall be deemed forfeit and no refunds will be either offered or made.

OUR SHIPPING POLICY :- All purchases will normally be packed and shipped to you, fully insured, within three business days of receipt and clearance of full payment.

Unless otherwise agreed, goods may only be shipped to the billing address of the PayPal account used to settle the transaction. Should your order be shipped to any other address, whether by prior arrangement or otherwise, this will normally lead to the loss of any benefits to which you may be entitled under the terms of PayPal's Buyer Protection Scheme, which in turn may render invalid the insurance cover provided in connection with the transaction.

Unless otherwise agreed, all goods scheduled for delivery to U.K. addresses shall be despatched via a Royal Mail / Parcel Force Recorded Delivery Service { Signed For }.

Unless otherwise agreed, all goods qualifying as Royal Mail "Small Packet" and scheduled for delivery to non-U.K. addresses shall be despatched via Royal Mail Air Freight { International Signed For }. Items too large or too heavy to comply with the Royal Mail "Small Packet" size and weight restrictions shall be despatched via Royal Mail Parcel Force Global Priority  { International Signed For }.

In the event that goods scheduled for delivery to non-U.K. addresses shall be impounded by Customs, or in the event that Customs shall, for reasons as often as not undisclosed, fail to release such goods, it shall be the responsibility of the Buyer to contact Customs in order to resolve such matter. In such circumstance, the Seller shall provide all necessary documentation in order to assist the Buyer with His / Her claim.

OUR RETURNS POLICY :- If Property purchased is materially different than as represented on this site, the original Buyer shall have the right within three business days of receiving the Property to rescind the transaction by so notifying the Seller and by returning the Property to the Seller, in the same condition as when received by the Buyer, at the Buyer's risk, cost and expence.
All goods offered on this site are either antique or secondhand, many being over one hundred years old, and are therefore by definition "used", rather than "new". It thus follows that over the course of time, many items will have suffered natural "wear and tear", and / or will have been repaired or otherwise restored. All goods are therefore offered strictly in "as viewed" condition and buyers should satisfy themselves by enquiry prior to purchase that such condition meets with their

own requirements as subsequent claims made for minor damage or for undisclosed restoration cannot and will not be entertained.

If the item was damaged during shipping, the Buyer must contact the Shipper to resolve this matter. In such circumstance, the Seller shall provide all necessary documentation in order to assist the Buyer with His / Her claim.

OUR CUSTOMER SERVICES POLICY :- Whether you're buying or selling, you'll find that we offer the sort of genuinely fair deal which makes for Happy and Satisfied Customers. That said, in the unlikely event that you have cause for complaint in your dealings with us, please don't hesitate to contact us right away that we might have the opportunity, promptly to rectify the problem. We promise that anything less than complete Customer Satisfaction will be thoroughly investigated and matters put to rights within five business days of notification.
